Problems and How We Can Help
If you are coming as an Au-pair to the UK, our agency will deal with any problems arising while you are staying with one of our families.
If any of the problems mentioned in the chapter HOW TO AVOID A MISUNDERSTANDING - paragraph 1 & 2 occur, the agency will help you to find a solution.
If it becomes necessary find a new family for you, the agency will do their best to act as promptly as possible, providing that you have not acted in any way to harm the family (if such case occurs, the agency will NOT take any responsibility for you). Please read carefully the subsection below to understand in what cases the agency is not under any obligation to help.
If you intend to leave the family for whatever reason, at least 7 days notice prior to the termination of the placement is required (the same applies for termination from the family). If you or the family fail to give such a notice it is entirely up to the agency to decide whether any help will be offered.
If the family dismisses you immediately without any of the reasons stated below in paragraph 4 applying, then you should contact us or our partner agency and we will offer you any possible help.
PLEASE TELL US, IF THIS HAPPENS TO YOU. IT IS NOT ONLY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, BUT FOR THE GOOD OF ANY FUTURE AU-PAIRS WHO MAY END UP IN THE SAME POSITION.
